NBA AND LATE COLLEGE
NBA
OKC -7.5 V New Orleans ***
Ok City is going to beat the hell out of a tired new orleans team. nice win last night but russell westbrook is the real deal and I dont see the new orleans backcourt going off like it has been lately, especially on the road in a back to back .
Sacramento -1 V Toronto **
Sacramento will be winning this game against a tired and mentally defeated Toronto team who will not be able to hold Evans to less than 30.

The Iowa teams are awful in bball this year and we will see that tonight when Texas whips them by double digits. Iowa state has a terrible in conference record and i believe their inability to play with consistency will disallow them from being able to keep a game here.

Marquette -4 v St John's ***
Marquette is going to make this a ten point game by the time its over.
They are a much better in conference team and St. John's is going to tire as the game goes on, playing two D1 games in two days is incredibly hard.. this will be their 4th in 8 days.... i think they will be playing hard but Marquette is my lean here.

Today's Conference Games
Today I like Georgetown -6.5 **
I think that GT is going to play much better than they did against USF last time they met earlier this season. GT is rested and has come together @ the end of the year while USF just played yesterday and had to Backdoor cover against DEPAUL yesterday. My old rule of thumb applies here where I like to base my pick off of the last team's level of competition. I think GEORGETOWN is so far superior to the last team USF played, DEPAUL, that this will be a game where USF needs to catch up.
Also GT's conference record shows that they are just as good as USF in the BIG EAST.

Milwaukee -1.5 V Boston *** (nba)
Tonight i think the celtics will get out to an early lead, but i think the younger hungrier bucks will prevail late in the game. bogut will be trouble for the celtics and perkins as much as i love him WILL BE IN FOUL trouble if he tries to stop the Australian...
Seton Hall -6 V Providence *
Normally i would not bet this type of game, but i have to say providence has lost their last 10+ games and has little confidence against a team that slapped them in both halves JUST LAST WEEK!! (aim small miss small on this one)
Cincinnati -8 V rutgers ***
Cin is very good this year and despite a few bumps in the road it will be tough for Rutgers to keep up here.. this is tournament time.. I see the parody between these two squads as far as IN CONFERENCE RECORDS are concerned... but I think that Cinncinatti's talent level is too high for rutgers.... WARM UP THE BUS.

Depaul kept a close game on their home court last week, but that being said they dont play well on the road, in conference, or @ neutral courts. They have a better scorer in the post, but i dont think they will be able to get him the ball effectively throughout the course of the game.
USF is looking to make an impact in this conference tournament and i think they will be looking to do so by making a statement early on. they have quality wins over many high ranking big east opponents and although this line is high i think that we cover by a couple points here.. (predicted score 72-63) but be weary of betting the over in this round of conference play.. you may catch a lot of points .. or cold shooting.

Vacation is over.. march madness is upon us

took a lil hiatus.. was feeling overwhelmed with all the bball
its good to take a break...

I think Western mich puts up 85 on these chumps... sounds ameteurish... but dam it feels right.
