Big card wednesday march 1
Seem to be making a run (4 Game streak) in college, but still don't have my grip on the nba in the fashion I did three weeks ago. I think I can get it back on a night like tonight. Here is the card so far.

I think Cincinnati is well coached, and usually teams with their caliber of talent and their high level of coaching can take marquette should they choose to sit in the zone. I think this game is absolutely huge for cindy and this will translate to a close win.

Im shaky on this game but I initially thought OK city and the numbers just don't add up. I think the key factor is that most teams do not have an Iguodala to guard Durant. Not saying he will shut him down, but there are few that can even stay toe to toe athletically with the tougher small forwards in the league and he is able to do so better than most.

Both teams can't cover a spread to save their life. But I gotta tell you this is a very very important game for Boston. They absolutely have to win this game, the way they have been playing they have a tough refurbished New Jersey team coming to town after Milwaukee with Brook Lopez kicking ass off the IR followed by the always unpredictable New York Knicks. If you're doc rivers you better get a fucking win tonight and get Garnett some rest late in the game.

So the spurs are on one hell of a run. that ends today. When breaking down this game an epiphany came to my brain which made me think... hey asshole....wake the fuck UP!!
The clippers have covered a lot, well so have the spurs, and today the spurs are going to play right into the hands of the clippers. The spurs and Clippers are a hell of a match up, but with this fast paced game and the addition of Kenyon Martin to the Clippers front court, how in the hell do you expect Bonner and Duncan and Blair (who can barely dunk the basketball at 6'11) to be able to defend the continual fast breaks and lob passes? the answer is simple... they won't.
the spurs are going to pick up the pace of this game, and I think younger fresher legs will prevail. I know the spurs have had a rest but a trip from toronto to LA and a day of practice I wouldn't call that rest so much seeing how long they have been on the road. Also we just can't forget that CHRIS PAUL is facing TONY PARKER... offense offense offense!

Rudy gay is going to have a good match up with Wright, but I feel that with Memphis's ability to rotate players to different positions such as Tony Allen who can play 1 2 or 3 against the Warriors tonight, they will be too much to handle for GS.

Its not the revenge angle... its not the "bulls play well without rose" angle, its very simple math. No Kevin garnett again tonight, rondo had 30+ last night and the celtics just couldn't consistently score. No 30 for rondo tonight i promise you that playing against his old bench coach. Furthermore, O neal is going to be fatigued tonight and will have to play less minutes he is slightly out of shape after his most recent injury and a back to back on the road is not ideal for a player in his situation. Bulls win this game 99-80

Both of these teams have been covering machines in their last five, but I think the trailblazers showed last night that they are a contender. They played some of their best offense of the year last night and did so without their big man aldridge. I think the clippers will be in trouble tonight against a team that is simply better.

The celtics are going to absolutely shit stomp the pistons tonight. The celtics are a similar style of offense as the spurs and as we saw late in the game although the pistons covered the spread, the couldn't stop the execution of the spurs veteran offense. The celtics are a bit injured, but I am one of those people who think that the C's bench is a lot better than people give it credit for. The Pistons are going to get frustrated early as not one person on their team can run with ray allen. Allen is going to get himself some good shot opportunities tonight. I know the pistons have been on a run, but none of the teams on that run play anywhere near the Defense of boston and i truly believe the Green Machine rolls over the horses.

Philly is going to have to score all their points from the outside. Howard has been playing like a beast and Spencer Hawes is banged up. Playing with a shit backup elton brand will have extra pressure on him to perform and rebound. Iggie is a worry for this game, but honestly I believe the magic take this one. I know 76ers are 1-3 ATS in their last 3, but they are also 18-10 overall, they just simply cover too often. Plus with the Magic 7-9 at home after some tough losses earlier this year, it wouldn't surprise me to see the magic play tough in this one even with the short line. Philly having trouble scoring against the leagues better teams on this road trip I think we have to lean MAGIC .

Call me crazy but I think the hawks are going to have a rough go at it here. They just got molested by the heat in a game that was supposed to be a close contest. Now they travel from ATL to LAX to face the lakers who are certainly glad to be home after the GRAMMY's road trip. I think tinsel town will be rocking tonight after no basketball for a week... as far as the match up, whether the lakers go small or big they outsize the hawks and likely out rebound them. I could see Gasol posting Smith all night tonight over 3 inches difference between the two and a lot of length, while the lakers bench is clearly stronger.

Hawks need some revenge vs indiana and I think we have a mismatch here with Teague Vs ANYONE on indiana. The Hawks play well in these spots with good teams knocking at their door during tough times. I think the hawks hit the pacers with a little bit of physicality, also West has been off last few games and I think if he is off again tonight we might see a gap in the scoring for indiana (total is a bit low).

I think the hornets are beginning to reconcile some of these in house issues they had with the whole Chris Kaman issue, if they can get Kaman going that will really help. I think I saw the thunder play their worst game of the season win or lose last night it was absolutely a disorganized shit show. If golden state can't keep up on their home floor with the best teams , especially when those teams are tired, then they need to make some moves and get a new roster.

I think the sixers are so much more athletic at the 1 and two off the bench that kobe will have to play extra minutes. I would not have taken this line at -2 but at -4 I think that vegas knows the sixers are coming out for a win tonight. They did win their last game, but they got SMOKED vs Miami and I think they sincerely will smack the lakers around.

But I think we have seen that the magic have to play conservative with their lack of depth and if they can do that tonight I think the clips are a little road weary after the last two weeks with all their toughest competition coming down this stretch of road I think they drop one here.

The hawks also need to pick up the scoring having not even sniffed 100 in their last couple (below 90 last 2). This total is rather high considering the facts and the mismatches on both sides should provide for a 195 pt game.

Because I hate bill belichick, because the giants (eli) have more to play for, because the pats don't want it with eli in the fourth quarter, because just like last time peyton broke down this defense for eli this week, because if this were a game of madden i would much rather take the giants, because I hate Bill Belichick. Mostly because... honestly, I don't think the pats can do it with this team. I have thought all year that they were the weaker of these two and I'm not changing my opinion now.

I called this spread and total within a point blind. I think it goes something like this. Melo is back and I think the bulls will be hard pressed to stop him without deng. Also the knicks are not going to stop rose on a normal night, but tonight he is extra pissed that his East leading Bulls got shit stomped by the sleeper team of the year. But hey we all saw that coming didn't we?
Knicks will keep the tempo up as they know the bulls are on the second night of a back to back, but the bulls will keep up just fine as korver will get 25 mins tonight.

They also are coming off a long road trip where they played a shitty schedule. 44 dimes says that this is an excellent spot to fade home teams... that may be true, I just think its too many points to give Gasol and the grizz after such a big turnaround win. Memphis is the truth and this will be a 3 point game or less either way.
