so its a new week folks... lot of action tonight but im not trying to throw away all that i have won in the last two weeks so lets take it one step at a time... plus mondays tend to be big public days... here WE GO!!!

Vegas isnt gonna let people cash on Texas all damn year and this is one of the biggest tests they have had all season. Texas has literally covered 6 in a row and 9 of their last 10, which included several TV games... I just cant fathom them getting away with another cover here. not to mention that this is a decent rivalry between these two squads.
Not to mention that their last game against one another was a blowout... and to top it off

Basketball ..my favorite game

This is a tough one.. the last game between these two teams was 6 days ago with the score going over the total (185). I think tonight you see the bulls put the wood to the bobbies... they are not going to be able to contain D Rose a second time, and this may just be a blowout... even if it isnt the bobcats dont have a scorer that can keep them in the game with elite teams so they will have to D up bigtime.. the public is all over the OVER but be careful cuz the public took a BATH last night...

The suns
The phoenix suns are fuckin awful on defense. They let antawn Jamison shoot H.O.R.S.E. shots all night from fifteen feet and alvin gentry is an awful coach.. my bad to anyone who follows my plays i have been WAYYY off this week including two sucker plays on the suns.. the suns are not who i thought they were at all... looking pretty rough on my other plays as well

They will be playing the WORST team in pro basketball tonight and i think they have a good chance to please their home crowd if they keep the ball moving... 10 is not a ton of points in a suns game

I think the celtics give way too many points at home. as we can see the raptors are not the best team on earth, but i think their young core will keep them in the game like last time. with all that said.. i am fading my normal logic and going with the celtics minus a bunch because all the celtics bettors got the shaft last game with the two missed ray allen free throws... celtics win by 11.

so it was an excellent night off .. Really something i needed, and although i would have had the right pick on both games the stress of worrying about the results would have driven me nuts. So here are my writeups on tonights games... these are not my picks just what i think about the lot of them ... an argument for both sides prior to my picking them.
Washington -5 V New Jersey
i think washington has a new look with lewis stretching the floor for them, and jersey may have a tough time matching up... but we do have a game here where jersey won the last contest between the two teams and there really is no one to stop lopez.. Blatche and lewis can be a tough 1 2 punch as well as the backcourt of the wizards.
Philly -1 V chicago
Philly is a stronger team than most think.. They are minus 1 here and I love betting the away team minus one in any sport... brand has been on a tear and the sixers are scoring a good amount of points as of late
holiday CANNOT HOLD ROSE....no way. and i think the bulls will score buckets..
San antonio-4 @ indiana
Will the spurs lose a third straight on the road?
I dont know if they actually will lose to indiana.. the spurs new offense is sooooooo fluid and they will definitely be trouble for the pacers late in the game, as indiana is awful in the fourth quarter as of late... not sure about this one.. if i had to guess i would say i think indiana covers and loses on the floor.. but let me check the ol' system.
Toronto @ Boston -9
Boston owes a beatdown to the raptors... and i think they really need to rest the starters after the last two games .. they are short handed... so there will be a large margin here.. not sure about nine or ten but the raptors DO NOT match up at all wit the beantown bombers... baby davis is too tough for anyone that toronto has.. pierce is gonna kill weems...

This is shaky.... portland has caught 3 and 5 points in the last two games and hit a cover/push in the first one(dependant on your line) and a cover in the second... i think them giving points in minnesota is a lil tough.. but i can understand why... Minnesota hasnt been winning on the floor as of late their points are down per 4 quarters int he last two games and as much as i like k love... he will have a harder time than normal against a solid portland frontcourt..that being said.. not sure here.
utah +2 @ memphis
memphis is on a roll as of late.. will they continue? i dont think their bench matches up very well but their starters are doing well together... utah needs this game... memphis could become complacent, but not sure on this contest.... i think they matchup very well for an under...

I have to say ... i dont know if anyone saw the end of that kings game... but i dont get why teams foul down 4 with 10 secs left?? makes no sense to me.. never has and never will.. either make a clean steal or concede defeat.. but intentionally fouling in that situation not only makes the other team have a larger lead, but also keeps the ball very far from the basket youre scoring on.. one of those protocol things in sports that needs to be weeded out..
2-2-1 is not my best night.. but def not my worst.. should have gone with my instinct and played memphis tonight and left milwaukee off the card, although they led by 4 at half.. so goes to show how good they are at keeping a damn lead.. either way...
tomorrow is another day and i love wednesday NBA cards.

Heat have been hot but at the same time charlotte is putting it together. I think certain teams step up for the heat as we saw with the first half of golden state the other night.. if the cats get a lead they will not give it up as easily as they are much more conscious of their shot selection...
