PITT OF DESPAIR

Pitt did have an abysmal offensive game against notre dame, and only lost by 3 points. Granted Notre Dame is not the most incredible program, but we are talking PITT V SOUTH FLORIDA, so with all things considered i think this is the play. The line is so extremely short for a south florida team that has been getting its fair (or unfair) share of press this year after beating Notre Dame and shocking their new coaching staff with some pretty interesting calls.

But nonetheless the game is what it is... I dont see Pitt going TOUCHDOWNLESS tonight like they did last week, and the reason I can substantiate that logic is that the over under is hovering somewhere around 53. Honestly, gun to my head I take the over, but the point is, I think some points will be scored by both offenses, and maybe some special teams will come into play, like it did for Pitt last week against ND.

i got the line at four but most will have it at 3.5. i feel this line is extremely short, and i also feel that LSU has not played a team of this caliber, or of this style, yet this season. Miss St has an excellent offense which boasts a strong SEC worthy running game. they, unlike LSU's last two opponents, will focus on time of possession and controlling the tempo of the game. Lsu really has only played one true football team this year in Oregon, and they are a razzle dazzle glitz and glamour squad whose success is more predicated on its coaching staff than anything else.

This week LSU comes out on a short week, laying less than 5, and plays a team that is going to put pressure on the QB and run the ball up the middle. Expect a 31- 28 Victory for LSU as they fail to cover the spread.

How quickly we forget how good the bears are, especially at home. Chicago is one of the veteran teams in this league and they will come out firing on all cylinders today. The Falcons are one of the more OVER HYPED teams in the NFL. Last year their weak schedule came to light when the better teams got to town, and I honestly believe fading the home dogg is a huge sucker play here.

Despite the fact that my system has this game at 17-14, I think that this is a very intelligent play without crunching numbers. Tennessee is going to run the ball a ton here, keeping the clock ticking and moving up the field at a slow pace. Jacksonville has a young QB who will not be given the green light to take too many chances.
Jacksonvilles D line should keep the Tennessee QB from taking too long in the pocket, and I think this game is a lock at 36. (as much of a lock as possible)
