TONIGHTS N-B-A

THE NBA
-----------------

Tonight, The knicks are on their third game of a three game road trip in which they have dropped the first two games, shooting a low percentage and playing defense poorly. Their last outing against OK City is one in which the knicks scored under 90!!! for a team that set the record in three point attempts last month, they have to be able to score more than that on the road, especially against the better teams in the league. Sometimes I like to make a play on a team that has lost a couple in a row, because they played top competition and the level of their game is heightened. however, here the 76ers have also been playing well against the better teams in the league and they are WINNING!! so to me it seems like a no brainer tonight.

Furthermore, the 76ers are a team that is slowly coming together, AI is starting to shoot less and make more which is something he has had a problem with his whole hall of fame career. I think that tonight the 76ers are going to put the hurt on the KNICKS who simply cant play the type of Ruff and Rugged bball that you will see from this
Philly team the rest of the year.

Also, A lot of people think Iverson is going to be out tonight, but I believe he will play at least 22 mins.

Philly -2.5 V NYK **

Denver -5 V Orlando ***

Recently, Denver has dropped two ill advised losses out of their last 6 to average teams, Philly and Sacramento. Tonight is the Second game of a three game home stand where Denver Needs to take all three to have momentum going into their upcoming road schedule before the break. Orlando is playing their second road game in a row, and have been travelling a lot lately, take a look:
01/12/10 @SAC W 109-88
01/09/10 ATL W 113-81
01/08/10 @WAS L 97-104
01/06/10 TOR L 103-108
01/05/10 @IND L 90-97
01/02/10 @CHI L 93-101
01/01/10 @MIN W 106-94

This will be their sixth road game of their last 8 games total. and playing at home was no bargain when they came home from their road trip to lose to Toronto then hop on a plane to washington, to catch a loss, then come home the next day to beat the hawks (which wasnt easy) followed by a trip across country to play the kings and Denver...??

I cannot see them winning this game my friends...

MORE TO COME LATER.
