Lakers are incredibly shallow at the guard positions right now, which is why kobe is playing extra mins and shootin the ball more.
They have gone over and lost their last 2 games and I think they know that with dallas's bench and their momentum from their last couple games they need to play this one in the half court. Plus they have an advantage down low.

Dallas is a tough team to bet against, but I think they are at such a disadvantage down low that their advantage in the 1 and 2 spot is completely negated. To me this has been a problem for dallas vs LA even when they had Chandler, and I think that Gasol and Bynum beat up on the mavs down low tonight.
